TransWay 2000 Series is a VoIP Gateway , which enables connection an IP network and Telephony network.
Not only the IP based signal handling but also all necessary functions - such as call control and routing, tone generation and detection, voice play and records, authentication and CDR generation and etc. ?are supported in one system.
Compact PCI is a new standard technology for computer back-plane architecture and peripheral integration. It provides several advantages in telephony service such as hot swapping, carrier-grade capacity, high-density peripheral integration, and so on.
Characteristic
1.ITU-T H.323 V2 Compliance
As TransWay 2000 Series follows ITU-T H.323 V2 it can work with any H.323 facilities that support ITU-T H.323 V2.
It means that you can composition TransWay 2000 series with any other vendor's GateKeeper or H.323 end points
2. On-board 100 Base-T Ethernet Interface
TransWay 2000 Series sends VoIP packet streaming through the on-board 100 Base-T Ethernet ports.
This feature protects from overloading of the host system and makes the most of system resources. Also it enables numerous simultaneous calls between an IP network and PSTN network.
3.Hot Swappable
With hot swap function of Compact PCI’s technology it reduces the system down time, so it is possible to keep the service ceaselessly in case of system expansion or modification. It’s very important for the telephony service providers to guarantee high stability of the switching system.
4. High Performance, Scalability, and Cost-Effectiveness
TransWay 2000 series covers up to 840 channels per one system, and is based on the Ultra SPARC processor and the Solaris Operating Environment platform. So it should offer the high performance, scalability, stability, and reliability required in a true carrier-grade network. Therefore you can adjust the scale of the system to your service range or business scope and reduce the cost in initial construction or expansion.
5. Remote Management by TransManager
TransManager manages TransWay 2000 series in the remote side. TransManager provides web GUI interface and has the functions of system monitoring, diagnostics, statistics collection, alarm collection etc. TransManager can be integrated with any other component manufactured by Transnet Co.,Ltd.
6. Telephony Signaling and Functions
TransWay 2000 provides E1/T1 Trunk Interface, MFC-R2 / ISDN PRI / SS7 Standard Signal, call control and routing, tone detection/generation, voice play/record, authentication, and CDR generation functions.
It is also possible that services such as IVR and ARS are embedded in TransWay, so TransWay supports automated user voice prompts for credit and debit card application.
7. Supporting Various Codec
TransWay provides high quality and widest range of voice compression technology such as G.723.1, G.729, G.711, G.722, G.728 and etc. So you can have the choice of codec according to the business and service requirements.
